As the winter months approach, many homeless men in Detroit face harsh conditions without adequate shelter. With over 1,500 individuals experiencing homelessness in the city, the demand for support is growing, but resources remain limited. Detroit operates only a handful of warming centers, and available shelters quickly reach capacity during extreme weather, leaving many without a safe place to escape the cold.
Our Winter Homeless Initiative is dedicated to providing warmth and essentials—coats, blankets, and other essentials—to homeless men who need it most.
